Aren’t fairy gardens just the cutest things? Is it because the fairy furniture is so tiny that it makes it so adorable? No matter what, I knew that I wanted a fairy garden this year. But, I also didn’t want to break the bank either. Guess what? You can make your own fairy garden by shopping at your local dollar store. Here’s how to find deals making your own DIY Dollar Store Fairy Garden.
DIY Dollar Store Fairy Garden
When I first started looking for fairy garden items, I thought I would have to go to Hobby Lobby and spend some bucks. If I couldn’t find anything there, I was going to make my own. But then, whilst shopping at Dollar General, I discovered that they had an entire aisle dedicated to fairy gardens.
I was ecstatic! My husband got in on the fun and told me to wait to buy the fairy furniture so that he could pick some stuff out too. So, a week went by and we went back to Dollar General. Due to the lapse in time, every fairy garden item was 50% off. I couldn’t believe my luck! I went bonkers buying every item I could.
Creating your own DIY fairy garden does not need to be expensive. If you want to save some money, buy fairy garden furniture from the dollar store.
If you aren’t sure where to place your fairy garden, you can use a simple terra cotta pot. Even better, use a broken terra cotta pot. Use the broken pieces as steps in the fairy garden to create dimension.
To jazz up the fairy garden even more, plant succulents in between the fairy furniture.
I went back into Dollar General the other day to see if there was anything new and there was! Everything was $1.00. Can’t beat that!
