Citrus Laundry Booster Scent
Good ol’ citrus, what would we do without you? Citrus is a clean, fresh smell that also has multiple health benefits. Did you know that the smell of fruit increases your body’s production of serotonin? Serotonin is a hormone that makes us feel happy! Now imagine wearing that citrus smell on your clothes all day. Sounds like a good day to me!
To use the citrus scent booster, simply add 10 drops each of lime, lemon, and grapefruit. This is just a starting point, feel free to add more or less depending on your taste.
Clean Laundry Booster Scent
What is it about things that just smell clean? When I think of clean, I think of bleach. I don’t care for the smell, but I like the feeling of knowing that the bleach just made something that was very dirty, extremely clean. I also think of white, sandy beaches on the ocean and the feeling of relaxation.
Hopefully, this clean scent blend will have you thinking happy thoughts in no time. Peppermint is a great smell because it can make you feel alert and focused. This would be a great blend to use if you had to take a test!
Using lavender, peppermint, and lemon, add 10 drops each to the laundry scent booster.
Woods Laundry Booster Scent
Ahh, the rugged outdoors. I love this picture because it is so serene and peaceful. It makes me want to lie in a hammock, read a book, and listen to the sound of birds singing.
The great thing about this is that the smell of lemon can increase your mental stimulation, while cypress promotes calm and relaxation. Use 15 drops each of lemon and cypress in the laundry booster.
Relaxing Laundry Booster Scent
Lavender is a great oil for relaxation. Did you know that lavender can make you drowsy? The scent can lower your heart rate and blood pressure. This is great if you have a high-stress work environment.
Rosemary kind of does the opposite of lavender in that it gives mental and physical energy. It helps you to perform tasks better and faster.
Use 10 drops each of lavender, rosemary, and lemon and add to the laundry booster.
I hope this gives you a starting point in creating the best laundry booster scents for you and your family. Have fun with this and don’t be afraid to get creative!
